They would just vent all the time. I'm going to guess they don't have a low humidity problem in the winter.

    air vents

    I saw 2 taco air vents that should be on a forced hot water system,on the return for a steam system.Asked the cust how the heat worked.He said it was 3 years old and gives off great heat.I was there because of a plugged chimney.I let the air vent thing go.But scratched my head on the way outDo these work on steam also??

    In the past 2 weeks I have seen 2-pipe steam systems with all types & sizes of vents, and bucket traps in the boiler room, and all were to get around re-building all the traps in 40+ unit buildings.
