The other post had me wondering. I'm switching to gas from oil. I have an old in-ground tank which will be abandoned. I know the Megasteam is great. It wouldn't work in my home anyway as they don't come large enough. I need about 740 sq ft steam.
On the gas side, efficiencies are lower, but which boiler is better and why, Burnham Independence, Peerless Series 63/64, other?
My gas company likes the larger Peerless better due to its larger water capacity, but the capacity looks similar so I think it is just a contractual arrangement.
Rayes is 1,000,000 btu plus and Gasmaster hasn't yet commercialized their efficient steam boiler.
