Hot Water Heating System

I've lived in homes with both types of systems and forced hot water systems are better than forced hot air systems. They are about as and even more efficient than forced hot air and very reliable.

Hot Water Heating System
We found a home we would love to buy but it has a hot water heating system with a boiler. We are unfamiliar with this type of system and are wondering the pros and cons. The radiators take up wall space making lay out of furniture a bit more difficult. I am wondering if there are solutions to that situation and about the efficiency/cost of such a system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!0 -
Radiators
You may find that the radiators are a very comfortable and potentially efficient way to heat, and that they become part of the decor of the room. Replacing them with radiant floors, ceilings, or walls is a costly proposition, and once you get used to the heat from radiators, forced air will never measure up.
Personally, I would look at hot water radiators as a plus when evaluating whether to purchase a home.0
