i have wired the new boiler so that i can plug it in to a 1500 va ups and a small generator during power failures [in our inner city omaha neighborhood every 2-3 mos] but i cannot get the honeywell control to fire it up--lights are on but no go.i remember a recent post about reversed polarity in a/c tranformers and how to check with a nice diagram provided by one of the "wallies"--[is that the right term ,and what does it mean anyway?]maybe that polarity issue is at work here.
hope all your favorite teams won--i was watching the boiler--and the steam always wins!!--nbc
