water hammer / indirect tank

I recently install a Peerless Pinnacle Boiler with an indirect water heater. I followed the manufacturer recommended diagram for installation. I have a one zone hot water baseboard system. The water hammer takes place in the domestic hot water tank on the circulator zone loop. It only happens during a call for heat on the hot water baseboard loop. If I reduce the flow with the ball valve through the tank the hammer stops at about half way closed. I have an expansion tank, check valves etc. as shown on the diagram as well as the direction of flow and location of circulators. I am thinking of relocated the boiler circulator to the outlet side of the boiler. Any help would be appreciated. please see the diagram link below
