one zone problem

Is your new Zone valve closing the end switch? You'll have to remove #3 wire to check properly between #2 and #3. If it isn't opening fully and closing the endswitch the zone will only hear when some other zone calls for heat. Do you have the end switch wired correctly?

    New zone problem

Have a pretty standard New England Hydronic system.
Stelrad Oil boiler, Taco zone Valves and a single circulator.
Two story house; zones upstairs and several on the first floor.
I recently built an office for my wife over our connected two car garage and added a new baseboard zone. The heat in this new zone is very erratic. Many times the thermostat will call for heat and I can see that the zone valve is open but no flow. Other times it seems to work fine.
My first thought was that is was air bubble causing the problems, but I have flushed the system a couple of times.

Wondering if my circulator might not have enough umph to deal with this zone. It is the farthest from the boiler.

    Any thoughts.

Thanks in advance, great stuff on this site, GO PATS!
