My old employer used to clean the blast tube and paint them with a high temperature silver paint to help cad cell readings. Works great.

    NEVER!!!

The cad cell should ALWAYS be reading direct light and NEVER reflected light.

Years ago with the old burners that worked fine. The problem with doing that with the new burners is that it can mask combustion problems. Cad cells in todays burners should be able to see enough light as designed.

There are holes in the drawer assemblys air plate that are right in front of the cad cell eye. They can clog up with lint and dust. Ive found that problem a number of times.

There was an error rendering this rich post.
