    Any tricks?

Are there any tricks to getting a good seal between the steam radiator and the supply valve?

I am able to attach it without any issue, but with about 1/2# pressure (coldest day of the year), some steam begins to leak out between the union (whatever you call the valve piece on the radiator side that connects in with a spud wrench) and the valve.

I assume that I am not getting the inner part of the union lined up perfectly with the valve, but I don't really know what the best way is to get them lined up properly for a good connection.

Is my valve just horrible and I need a better brand or is there a trick to getting the two pieces to line up properly?
