The car's horn got stuck on while driving through town & we got pulled over by a cop who had to yank the wires. My oldest brother was a huge Yanks fan. Mick and Dimag ruled the roost back then. That's the weekend Mom didn't go to the game & she fell in love with NYC.

Visit to ballpark

My son and I took my Dad to the Tiger game last night. He has lived in Detroit almost all of his 81 years, visited old Tiger Stadium a lot, but never saw a game at Comerica Park. It was a big thrill for him...and for me. Our Tigers lost but that kinda took a back seat to the special moment. There is still something very special about dads, sons, and baseball.
