We went to the Museum of Science in Boston. That is a VERY cool place. The planetarium puts on a great show. They also have the only IMAX 180' theatre in New England. We also went on a DUKW boat tour of Boston. These are the very same Dukw boats ( amphibious trucks) that may have roared ashore on Omaha or Utah beach. Maybe in the pacific theater somewhere. The US govt never kept track of where these vehicles served at. My daughter got to drive it on the Charles river. It was AWESOME. A great family day for any and all.

    Awesome

Good for you. i love going on field trips with my kids.

Last year, I went on my son's field trip to Boston, did the swan boats, statehouse, and walked Beacon Hill. The highlight of the whole trip was when we first got off the bus. I was lining my group of kids up against the fence at the Public Gardens, and this guy comes up and asks where we are from.

He looked familiar, but it took me a minute to place him. It was Barry, from the Jordan's Furniture ad's!!! I swear I couldn't have been more excited if it had been a major movie star. I made a total fool of myself.

    Good times.

    Sounds like a blast.

Can't wait till my sons old enough to do things like that. No rush though, still have some time till this happens since he's three years old. Trips like that will be talked about when they are much older.

    Nice Darin !

So...ya thinkin' of moving out this way? 2 times in 2 weeks...Maybe you're getting the "itch".

I LOVE the Museum of Science ! Haven't been in a while but do they still have the Wasp engine on display? 32 cyliders and no waiting. I swear I could stare at it all day. Chris.

    Lucky Girl

to have a dad like you, Darin...how memories are made...

Did you chaperone the entire class?

As Chris said, your coming out here is becoming a good habit! Would have been nice to hook up with you, but your focus on your daughter is paramount. Next time!

Thanks for all the nice comments!

Brad, I wouldn't be here now if I had to chaperone the entire class. I really do not know how teachers do it everyday. I just barely put up with Mark!!

To you North Shore boys, That is a beautiful place you guys have up there. It certainly is tempting to move up! Especially with that Thurston Howell III customer base! Bring me another stack of hundreds lovey!!!

It is important to spend quality time with your kids. They will carry those good memories forever. Life is busy but don't get too busy for them.
