A company called Istec has some great products for these applications below is the link. Istec is a manufacturer. If you need a distributor I know Patriot Supply in New York sells their products. Below is a link to the Istec website.

    I second Istek

    Good simple line.

Keep in mind that if you are splitting costs like this, the legal requirements have to be followed, (flow plus Delta-T over time). At least have each party sign an agreement to abide by the metering.

I know of one Condo owner who even did this. Another owner spent a lot more in fuel (kept it warmer), while others, paying their way, were more frugal. The woman who wanted her "own personal Florida" did not like the bills when they arrived so challenged it in court. They had to revert to commons-fee billing on a per square foot basis, raised the commons fee for everyone, and wasted the cost of the meters, despite unanimous agreement beforehand. Caveat. (And what is a contract really worth if words are deemed to mean somehing else? Damned lawyers.)

Anyway- just some thoughts. But the meters are a good idea and if not for billing are a good management tool.
