A late winter project

My bro-in-law provided me with some pics of the Buderus install I did for them. I almost forgot I had them. I do not have any before pics, but it was a one piece steel boiler with a domestic coil. It was firing at 145,000 input btu's. One giant old monster. I put in a Buderus G115/21 with an LT 160 indirect. I really like the Oventrop oil filter. The see-thru bowl is great for identifying any contamination issues and the shut-off is built into the valve. I used the available mounting bracket and a stainless braided whip for the oil line. Oil service will a snap. The surrounding piping was a real mess so we made it look more presentable. It will be interesting to compare oil consumption next winter.
