    Lchmb...buddy,....pal

the first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem...there seems to be this deep down inside hatered for a soft drink....could be there was a bad bottle that did you harm while you were a child...or a old girl friend was drinking a fine vintage when she said there was another in her life...lets get together and talk about this!

ok,, ok,, im ROTFLMAO thank you....David

    Nice install David.

I'm a bit worried about the lack of a Pressure differential By-pass valve. If only 1 zone is calling for heat, there may be one hell of a squeal going through those small pipes. (constuctive...I hope, critisism)

Me thinks it might be a bit easier on, and extend the life of the circulator too. It could also save you the callback for free. Think about it. Chris

Nice looking job david! One tip for you, you should look into using 'tube talons' for the fostapex versus the emt clips, IMO they are MUCH Faster to put in becasue they already have a nail in the clip, you can just hammer them right up, and I think they allow for a little bit more expansion then a metal clip. What kind of radiation are you supplying? baseboard? Are you going to put in a logomatic?

Chris, I am a firm believer in pressure bypass valves, but isn't that just a 007 pump? I wouldn't think their would be too much velocity noise if only one zone calls.

    Surprise Ray!

With the smaller interior of the pex tubing, I find it a good and relatively cost effective, way of assuring avoiding the noise issue.Primary/secondary works too...but the cost is usually higher...especially now.

007 pumps move ALOT of water for their size, and more often than not... ARE oversize for typical demands especially with zone valves. (I know what you're thinking...what's the alternative?) A properly adjusted PBDV is the answer. It saves the wear and tear on the poor impeller with little flow...(cavitation, and possibly going over recommended pumping temperatures as the controls are usually located at or in the boiler.) OK I'm Anal

Having been a Marine I'm very anal when it comes to little details. That Blue Air Scoop just stuck out to me, awsome. But clean that pipe dope off of it!!!! That's going to be one masterpiece job, great looking soldered joints, my skills went to crap since I rarely install now adays.

    Great Job Dave,

    Yup thats a 215

The owner did not op for the 2107 ( yet ) so its got the 8148 on there.i use to put a valve before the expantion tank but the valve got left shut once and that was enuff.no problems with the blk fittings. Thanks Clammy !!
