Looking at a new one....

Nada.

There are 12 pipes divided between the 2 holes and they are just sticking out into the basement.

This is probably the biggest problem in the job.

Thanks.

2 other contractors were there & aren't there any more

And I was called to look at it.

5 ton WSHP. Tubing already in the slab, 98% of the ducting done.

    Sounds easy, right?

A local web driller (NOT a WSHP driller) did the 6X200 foot wells. The tubing has been stuck through the wall of the basement. This is polybutene(?)and I need to hook it up.

    Any suggestions?

    TIA.

all of the piping in the wells should run to a header, we use 3/4 in the wells and 1 1/4 from the header to the house, these all should be fused fitting. has there been a pressure test? 100 psi for 24 hours. from there it should hook to a flow controler, again a fused fitting to the pipe and a FIP to the flow controler.

wow, not good. are the pipes identified in any way. well you will need to conect them. you need to determin supply and return you can fill one pipe till water comes out the other end and that will become a loop. each side of the loop will need to be conected to a different manifold (supply and return)I've not seen a system that had exposed manifolds. generaly they are conected in a header pit and just 2 lines (s&r) enter the house. unless you have fused pipe befor you'll need to contact some who can. it might be time to punt or act as a general and contact some one who has done this before. where are you at?

    According to the homeowner

The 12 pipes coming into the basement in the 2 holes, each pipe in one hole matches up with one in the other hole. In other words, one is for the supplies and one is for the returns.

This house has been in the works for more than 2 years.

I'm in Georgia, the job is northeast of Atlanta.
