Cleaning a Peerles Ec

Member Posts: 14
When I bought my house I inherited a caked up Peerless EC.
It isn't soot but I think its sulphur (white caked on crap).
I'm new to the bussiness and haven't learned all tricks of the trade. I did the usaully soot saw and went thru 3 brushes and its still isn't 100% clean. Probaly 70% cleaned at the moment. Is there any special process I need to do to get it clean? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks John Piro
