Flair Zone Valve
I have a customer that has four of the old Flair zone valves; they need power to open AND close and my customer wants new programmable thermostats. Can I modify a White-Rogers stat to work these zone valves or do I need to replace the zone valves as well?

Al, I know Robert Shaw used to make a thermostat that worked with automag zone valves if they still make that maybe that would work?

Thanks for the info.,
guys. I'm tending towards changing both the zone valves and stats. In the long run, it makes more sense since the Flair zone valves and parts are no longer available. For ease of use and troubleshooting, I'll probably add in a zone valve controller, like a Taco ZVC406.0
