have a 3rd party test? How thick is it? I am very leary of "new".... "insulation" methods. Until I see lots of testing I will still stick w/ foam board..2"...kpc

    insulation blanket

    has anybody heard of using an insulation for slab radiant heat called Ptro-Gel?
    it looks like a felt wall to wall carpet pad. the owner researched and said it is goog stuff. I am concearned about its use in this manner, also its vapor barrier qualities.
    slab going down next week
    please advise
