I think he meant cluch cable. Am. Stand. has a pop up that uses a cable instead of the usual linkage.

What?
What is a cluth cable?
Reminds me of a day as a young man working the plumbing counter.
A gentleman plumber walked in and asked me for a concussion. I said what? a concussion?
He looked at me like I was a twit and said yea a 1/2" concussion and a shiny one at that!
Well I thought about it and several things crossed my mind, including reaching for a pipe wrench and striking him on the head.
After a few seconds and the gentleman growing impatient, he blurted, Ill get it myself and headed behind the counter.
When he returned with a smirk on his face he exclaimed, see I got one, don't you young kids get taught anything?
After he set it on the counter with haste, I proceeded to write him up a sales ticket for (get this)
1- 1/2" CTS chrome shallow escutcheon
