Clogged section in steam boiler?

Thanks to all for your responses. Is it possible the section with the nipple for the pressuretrol and gauge is so clogged with scale and sediment that it is essentially cut-off from the remaining 3 sections? This might explain why I'm getting heat but no measurable pressure in the boiler. as well, the syetem, although working, is not getting as hot as the other two boilers in the house. However, it also seems this section would crack while heated without dissipating heat through steam production. The boiler shows no sign of cracking or leaking, nor is it consuming water. Has anyone seen such a case?

I would not think so
If it was, your system would be running very hot and overpressure? Water level too high? Bouncing? When is the last time you flushed out mudlegs, cleaned low water cutoffs, cleaned pressuretrol manifold pipes and ports. All important! Just a few items, Tim0 -
Thanks for responding. I would have thought the same but, I'm at a loss a this point. All have been done but for the mudlegs. Not sure how this is done. This is an old (50+ yrs) Mills coal conversion, I believe. Is this s matter of flooding the boiler then draining from the valve at the bottom?
Again, many thanks.0
