i wonder if this is the way that Metering sunlight
will be legislated into existence.....0 -
The next thing you know
the government will be dictating what it takes to flush a toilet... oh, wait....0 -
a very
scary phrase in the newspaper the other day in a story about oil crude at 100 bucks a barrel:
"....global demand will soon outstrip supply."
Pause for a moment and think what that means. I don't want government regulating anything, but on the other hand somebody's gonna hafta do something, and I think government better put themselves in gear to try to help find some quick answers.
I keep thinking about all the images of people trying to gather sticks in Sarejevo and getting shot in the streets, and people in other countries riding around in the backs of pickup trucks carrying rifles. Won't happen here? Why not?... we're not special any more. The world ain't nearly as big as it once was.
People better quit voting for presidents and congressmen based on abortion, gun control, or trying to legislate your particular brand of religion. We're already way behind on nuclear energy in my opinion. And it's noo - klee - ar... not noo - cue -lar... for cryin out loud.
There are serious problems out there that require somebody with some brains. I think energy is the number one...
I'm afraid it's gonna get real weird real quick. I'd be thrilled if someone could point out why it is not.0
