Munchk service

I inherited a couple of these and they have not been serviced in the 6 or so years since they were installed...
Question is...do I need any gaskets, service kit, or any such things in my hands before I yank the burner and check out wear and tear, clean out crap, etc...
Also what should I be looking for as to potential future problems..

Thanks!!

Floyd

    Munchkin service

I would take with me a Refractory, target wall, burner gasket, blower gaskets. Not to mention a spark electrode and a flame rectifier. If it is 6 years old it ptobably has the old blinker board. The 925 control upgrade is a great idea if they will spend the money.

I had one a couple weeks ago that had not been service in years. it was pretty Nasty!! even the Combustion was dialed in.. I did not need any gaskets,.. but the rubber hose that connects to the Bottom of the chamber( Condensate drain) was deteriorated and in need of replacement.

I had ordered the kit before Tearing into this one..

I took the Hole chamber and soaked it with CLR and a brush and credit card in the slots and cleaned it in my tub..It is actually not a small job!! Hope this Helps.. Heatmeister..
