Pressure Relief Valve Help
Okay, I'll be truly amazed if someone here can help me with this, but I'll give it a shot. I am looking to replace 2 very old pressure relief valves (circa 1969), and I need to know what the current day replacements would be. Unfortunately, the only info I can supply is the original make and model. If anyone can tell me more info about these valves (inlet size, connection type, orifice rating etc.), or direct me to the info, and the appropriate replacement valve I would be VERY appreciative. The valves are J.E. Lonergan:
Model: 41-W-207 (rated at 20psi)
Model: 41-W-205 (rated at 75psi)0 -
It is a district steam system, no boilers. Both valves are located directly after the pressure reducing stations (high to medium pressure and medium to low pressure). I don't have a picture of the actual valve, but it looks lie this. Thanks0 -
Kunkel bought Lonergan. They should be able to give you the cross reference numbers.

They were the first people I tried. Apparently Lonergan changed the model numbers on their valves so frequently that Kunkel didn't bother keeping the old Lonergan records. So what I am looking for is some old timer who might still have some old Lonergan records or manuals that have those specific models listed. I know it is a long shot, but I thought it was worth a try.0 -
