Hydronic heating system, dripping noise in radiators

I just moved into a 20 year old house with a Weil McLain hydronic heating system. The house has three zones as far as I can tell, basement, main floor, and upstairs. I always had forced air furnace in previous houses. When laying in bed at night on second floor of house, we hear a dripping sound coming from the baseboard registers... It lasts a couple minutes then goes away. Is this something to be concerned about and can it be eliminated as it is annoying.
Thanks,
Gary

rad noise
Probably not "dripping" if it is baseboard. More likely to be expansion/contraction noises - caused by: pipe holes too tight, pipes strapped too tight, or element isolators not in place or missing. If you take the covers off.. might as well vacuum/clean the elements too.
