At first I thought they were talking about thread sealant but after talking to my buddy at con-ed he informed me that sub contractors hired to repair pipes inject resin into the pipes to stop the leaks and they did this one to fix a leaky weld neck flange and that this practice is common. Maybe they should try bubble gum next maybe it wouldnt clog their thermal dynamic traps so easy...
