    T.V. and Phone interference

Any one know why when a furnace comes on it makes the snow fall on the t.v. set. Cable t.v. also has static on the telephone. Feed Back appreciated. Thanks

    Interferance

Check your grounding on the furnaces electric feed, that is if the furnace is newer with electronic ignition

    TV interference

On oil burners it might be a good idea to look over the porcelain insulators on the electrodes.
Hairline crack in the porcelain can show up on a TV screen.
    Good luck,

    TV

Also check the ignition transformer... have had to replace them to stop the interference. (insulation breaking down seems to be the culprit)
  • Shoot the TV...

get a good book, and curl up next to the heat register :-)

    Problem solved... NEXT!!!

    Happy Gnu Ears to ya'll.

    Grounding

Check that the blower motor case is grounded correctly. I have seen situations where the ground path found its way through the bearing and created all sorts of RF noise.
