Do you have any flo-checks for the seperate zones off the coil and off the zone for the storage tank?? Also did you install an aquastat for coil zones??Did you install a bypass for the storange tank zone?? Insulating pipes is important but piping the system correctly first is more important

Steam boiler with coil being used for radiant/baseboard and bottom of boiler for storage tank yes very interesting and it does work only problem . 1st floor is all radiant ,2nd floor and 3rd floor steam and basement is baseboard. When steam comes on basement goes up to 76 degrees and 1 st floor goes up to 76 as well . Note no insulation on 3 inch steam main and no insulation in ceiling of basement . First thing i think is to insulate steam main 2nd to insulate ceiling of basement . I did shoot with lazor heat gun and found 76 degres at same height of steam main and main 180 roughly. whats any one thoughts???0
