Im not sure if either of those are the correct spelling however I was hoping to learn more about this device. One of our sales guys just came into my office and asked if I had ever heard of it? He described it as a device that is located in a hydronic loop.
It looks like a small manifold with a ¾ inlet in at the bottom of the manifold then on the top left is a ¾ outlet in the middle is what looks like an air vent and to the right another ¾ outlet.
The first thing I question is why ¾ in with 2) ¾ out?
Any how a new system is going in including piping and Ive asked that he try to remember to bring it back to me so I can take a picture and share it with you folks and of course add it to my museum.
Any education, any of you can offer would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like...
some sort of air eliminator, possibly intended for use on a potable water pressurization system (well, expnasion tank, etc.)
If it works for removing air on a well, why not in a closed loop heating system with air problems...
Just guessing. A photo would help.

Thanks, Mark. When the guys go to the work, which I'm told may not be for a month or so. I'll post a picture of this mysterious device
