1-5 years after installation

I am having a problem with leaks on piping after installation. I see all the great pics of the steam installs as they are new but not many installs that are 1-2 years or older. We are returninng to repair pipe leaks a year or more after the installation at no charge. We have tried dope by itself, tape by itself as well as a mix of both, but cannot seem to stop the leaks. Now it is not on every install but is seems to be happening more than it should be. Is anyone else having a similar problem?
