Obvious answer is.....
Thermal Appliance Company ("T" from thermal, "A" from Appliance, "CO" from Company for those of you anagrammatically challenged)...Hey! Could that actually be a "Barba-ism"? Anagramatically?...dang! that sounds GOOD!
While technically correct, I found out this past week what Taco REALLY stands for: Quality, innovative products and a real dedication to helping we contractors succeed. Had the opportunity to visit the Taco facility and meet with J. Barba, Dave Sweet, Bob, Doug, Mark, Rick, etal and Mr. John White Jr. Also was able to meet several folks from "The Wall" face to face: Mr. Paul "The Icon" Rohr, Jeffrey ("HeatBoy"), Bob Dudley, and others. I was sworn to secrecy but can tell you they are on the right path as far as I am concerned First class operation all the way. We all are going to benefit from their "skunkworks" division...trust me. A quick visit to Taco's website will be well worth your time.
Kudos to Taco and thanks for the great time.
And I learned a new "Barba-ism": pollutive (adv, adj) (pull-oo-tiv): to pollute in an excessive manner. To spew various noxious particulates into the air. Normally reserved for use when describing heating equipment, however certain exceptions are allowed. To act in a pollutive manner, such as, "John sure was in a pollutive state after dinner Thursday night." Oh! like a knife to the heart! Sorry, John!

Great meeting you Rocky. It was an eye-opening experience for me at Taco. John White Jr is a genuine personality by which I mean this his personality is genuine. I think Mr.White used the word Icon as a euphamism for "Dork sitting next to me". Don't know.
I was very impressed with the 21st century technology coming out of there. All I can say is that you might experience several "Epiphany" moments as you see their new products and how they can benefit your mod/con installations.

QUALITY
Taco is a real quality company that makes quality products. When I see Taco green I know all is well. Good to see an American company that serves their customers and respects their employees.0 -
Pollutive
I don't think it can be a noun, as in "that's another pollutive." To be a nouce it would need to be "pollutivization."
You guys rock!0 -
