Hot water

I have on with 5 heads....because I can and I'm a plumber. I am also 6' 5" and 285 and it takes a lot of water to rinse off this wide body. I have a 3 section Weil oil boiler with a +40 and have never run out of water taking a shower, even when showing with a friend !!!!

How many of us are installing these outrageous showers with gallons and gallons of water coming out. I am installing a 2nd system this week with 27.5 gallons per minute running out. What is everybody doing with Hot water tanks? And why do people need a carwash in there shower.

    Because they can

It just amazes me how the feds mandate flow per head but not heads per shower enclosure. The only thing that frosts me more are snowmelt systems (which are banned in our state).

We had a customer last year who lives alone who had one of these hogwash showers who ended up with two 200 gal;on storage tanks heated with a domestic hot water Munchkin. He wanted to be able to have all faucets on in the house for an hour and never run out of hot water.

When the equipment arrived I thought someone had made a misstake (I have put the same size systems in for Holiday Inns) They said no, this is what the owner wanted!

The over consumption tendencies of some people are going to be hard to overcome in order to truly promote conservation!
