loud vibrating sound from steam heat

in THE MAIN WALL
we have steam heat and have been hearing a loud vibrating sound in the pipes. it seems like built up pressure perhaps but it is quite loud for about 20-30 seconds than fades away. any suggestions?

    It is hard to figure these problems out without looking at them. Contact someone from the "find a professional" in your area, and I'm sure they will tame your beast.
