    I just saw that my 24 year old BG series 100 pump is leaking. what do you think.... rebuild / replace?

    B&G 100

    24 years old is their anything else to say probablly the best pump of its kind. 2nd one since 1962 in mothers house and still going strong.
  • I'd replace it

    newer pumps don't need periodic oiling and have fewer moving parts. Tell us more about your system and we should be able to recommend a replacement.

    RED thing

    Mine lasted about 7 yrs then problems. I oiled it every year. I think you are better off with a taco 007. MY 2 bits.

    equiv. wet rotors

    Taco -0010 & B&G NRF-33 have the closest pump curves; the -007 & NRF-22 have lower curves, though might be better suited if it's a small residential system.
