oil furnace efficiency table?

Hi,
I was looking for a simple table for calculating oil furnace efficiency based on the difference between ambient and flue gas temperatures. Anyone have a link to this info? I figured there must be a web-based calculator for this but couldn't easily find one.
Thanks.
Alec

Assuming the burner set up correctly, 0 or trace of smoke, stable fire... You'd need to know the net stack temperature and the amount of C02 in the flue gases to calculate the efficiency. Stack temperature alone won't do it.

You'll also need...
a CO2 (or an O2) percentage measurement of the flue gas at the breech during steady state operation in addition to net stack temperature. Do you have access to an analyser or a Fyrite tester?0 -
w/ CO2
Pete,
Thanks for the reply. Is the table with temperature and CO2 posted anywhere?
