Does anyone know where I can download the GASCOM software for use with Honeywell controls? (on Triangle Tube & WM Ultra boilers) I tried my supply house and they didn't know what it was and could not find a part number in the WM catalog. Thanks

    Can't find the number right now, may come across it later...cost was about 200.00...sure is a handy program if U install the Ultra's...

    GasCom Software

    The GasCom software will will work with any boiler equipped with the Honeywell MCBA control system. There is more to it than the software however. You will also need an Interface Kit to connect the Laptop to the MCBA control. A word of warning if you are planning on using the software though. Any parameters that get changed using the software are changed forever unless you remember what they were set for and reprogram to get them back. If you are using it to change parameters, most of the parameters that are relative to normal use can be checked and reset directly from the touch pad of the MCBA control without the software. Much care must be taken when doing so as it is real easy to change the wrong parameter but very difficult to get it back. Why do I know this? I spend an hour or two on the phone every week assisting people that were attempting to raise the reset curve foot temperature and accidently changed the DHW Reference Point temperature instead or other common happenings similar to that.

    I can make the cable if I had the software and the pin outs. Does anyone have any part numbers for the kits or know if any of the manufacturers have the software available for download? I was hoping to use the software more to monitor information than to make changes. Thanks

    Ther is more to it than just a ribbon cable or two. It consists of a transformer with a 14 conductor ribbon cable on one end and 9 conductor serial connector cord on the other. These should be obtainable through your W-M distributor as well as the software.
