Noisy boiler

I have an Energy Kinetics EK-1 boiler, about 10 years old, that has started making a strange noise and vibration. The burner is somehow hitting the boiler's resonant frequency, so the whole boiler and the attached piping vibrates - you can feel the vibration while standing on the basement floor next to the boiler, and you can feel the piping vibrating, and the noise carries through the piping so I can hear it throughout the house. The vibration only occurs when the burner is firing and the water is hot, and only under certain flow conditions. Shut off the burner (but keep the pump running) and the noise goes away. Or close one of the zone valves and there is no noise. This started after the boiler had its annual cleaning - never happened before in 10 years. We tried changing the fuel nozzle, but no effect.

Anyone ever seen anything like this? Any suggestions?
(By the way, other than this noise issue, the EK-1 has been great for these past 10 years - trouble-free, and great efficiency.)

    Check the oil tank.

    WHAT? you say....

    The oil line may be setting up a vibration, and the oil tank will amplify this sound like a speaker.

    If this is the case, someone (Beckett I think) actually makes something called an "anti-hum device". It goes in the fuel line at the burner and doesn't look like much....but I've had some great success using them.
