    Wayne MSR Burner problem

I Have a burner that will not start up all the time unless I lift up the transformer and put It back down then hit the
restart button. I have checked the contacts and they look fine and make good contact but I have no idea what could be causing this. When it starts it runs fine.

too much heat on the transformer...

melts the potting material, this in turn changes the performance of a transformer.

ambient temps are a biggie also. i also agree with slight fractures in the electrode porcelain..

if the wires are "Baked" leading to the transformer it is an indicator.
