have elec. heater that wont stay at set temp.

I have central a/c and heating. We set the thermostat to 75, but it keeps going down to around 68. I changed the filter, and looked at the breakers and they are on. I don't know what's causing it to do that. thank you

is ti a programmable stat
if you have a prog stat, some will override the set temp only unitl the next time kicks in, then it returns to the program.
Check the programming.0
