Vacuum pump for filling system

Hi

I need to fill a radiant under floor system which has ~6000 feet of Wirsbo hepex, all of which is higher than the seven zone manifolds, so there is no way to put a vent at the high point.

I found a related thread here:

Like Greg I have a Schraeder valve for pressure testing, everything holds 60 psi of air for 24 hours. It seems like a no brainer to put a vacuum pump on it and get the air out.

So, has anybody Gregged a Wirsbo installation successfuly? Or unsuccessfully, which is probably more important!

FWIW I plan on isolating the Vitodens 200 and expansion tank, and plugging the 30 PSI relief valve. If the pex fittings hold I think everything else should be OK.

Thanks in advance for any advice or comments,

John
