    Ahh

Home Depot! They'll have one of those clinics and you'll be all set.
  • By my estimate...

This unit would cost $3,500,000.00 not including disposal fees:-)

    (200*.05*24*365*40 = 3,504,000 dollars).

I'm thinking it would be great for a place that can use 100% of its output, like a glass plant, or something like that.

TO expensive for my neighborhood, but nice to see the technology coming down in scale and cost.

    Other cool reactor

Their is another cool reactor, aka battery ,developed at los alamos. http://www.hyperionpowergeneration.com/. Interesting idea if no other good sources come up for our shortage ahead of us. Still leery on the nuclear idea but will have to see.

    Cost of Electricity

Electricity from the public utility where I live costs 10 cents / kWh and that is just the power cost. Distribution and Delivery adds another 5 cents / kWh.

That is a cost of $10.5 Million for 200 KW of power delivered from the public utility over a 40 year life.

If this unit can make power on-site for 5 cents / kWh there is a potental cost savings of $7 Million over a 40 year life, with a HUGE reduction in green-house gas emissions compared to electricity from coal, gas or oil.

The 200 KW size of unit would serve two large condo towers very nicely.

Very interesting, in light of cost savings and global warming.
