    Mike its realy simple

All you need is two tees of pvc, a cap for the bottom and a clean out for the top. I use 3" by 1" pvc tees and have found that this will work with most boiler manufactures condensate traps. A simple uni strut clamp to secure the trap to the wall and run the upper tee to the floor drain and the lower tee to the condensate trap, then fill the trap with marble chips replace the cap and let her rip. the only thing to keep in mind, is that the home owner needs to keep an Eye on the level of the marble chips in his Trap.

    Another homemade

I use a pluged type closet flange as the bottom for a good base. A Fernco rubber cap on the top to open, inspect, and replenish.

I drill, thread, and glue mip X PVC ells into the side for in and out connections.

    here's one

This is what the Lochinvar factory supplies and is also supplied by at least one other manufacturer. Surprisingly simple and works just fine. pH is about 3 to 4 going in and around 7 coming out.

The neutralizer which Larry has shown is available through Grainger and is also listed as available from Triangle Tube.

    Axiom condensate neutralization tank (NT20)

Have a look at the NT20-A in the products section.
