    anyone been..

Having issues w/ Gorton main vents not shutting off and leaking/spitting water? I have had a couple of #1 and a #2 that have been leaking on 1 job...replaced then very soon after the call comes that they are having issues w/ water all over the floor....They are installed up on the dry return up and away 8" from the drop back down into the wet return boiler...ty,kpc

    Regarding spitting vents

Could it be the wet return is partly blocked and water backing up to vent?? just a thought. Tim

    it a good thought,....

I have flushed out the bottom of the boiler a lot as of late...nasty stuff. It could be partially blocked. But there is only a very small part of the system that is wet. I will check...ty
