Having a new Knight Mod con unit installed the unit is set w/ a condensate pump piped to the sewer system w/ no neutralizer installed. Will this be a problem, I thought it HAD to be treated first, Installer say no.

Does the installer know your plumbing?
No, not in the Biblical sense.
I mean, does the installer know if you have cast iron piping and/or a septic tank? Both can be abused by the acidic condensate. For twenty dollars worth of PVC fittings and a bag of marble chips, heck, I know what I would do.0
