Zone Control module. It has dual lights for every zone. One shows at call for heat, the second when the end switch makes.

Christmas Lights
Hi All,
I would like to be able to identify when my system's zone valves are open both individually and in relation to each other. They are 3/4" Honeywell V8043E1061's. As many of you know, there are two yellow leads for the solenoid and two red leads for the end switch.
Any suggestions on how to do this? Is it possible to wire (eg 28 volt) LEDs into the end switch circuits to indicate when the valve is activated? Thoughts? Thanks.0 -
think it has been mentioned here before
I think you could wire something in parallel with the red or end-switch wires.
My best guess would be to look up 24V led's on google, and call to see if they have something that would work. If not you could always bring a common over from the transformer
Do a search here though, I remember reading something similar in the past

Boiler function during electricity loss
I have a boiler with pilot light. 3 zone system in my home. If I loose electricity, will the boiler still work and heat my zones?

Is this a powerpile
self generating gas valve on your system? If so you can usually flip a switch on your relay (Auto-Manual switch) to manual and open the flow check valve or in the case of zone valves open them manually. This will cause the boiler to cycle on limit and give you gravity feed for heat. Do not forget to put the switch back to AUTO when power is restored.
If you do not have powerpile and you lose the power then you will need a generator.0 -
Hot Rod,
Can you provide a model or the 'family' of Taco controls that you describe? Thanks.0 -
ZVC406-EXP
The taco ZVC406 has the diagnostic lights, to tell you when the thermostat is calling, and when the zone valve end switch closes. It really does a nice job facilitating the wiring, and giving you a visual of whats going on in the system. The EXP version can do boiler reset, injection mixing, or two boiler stating, along with taking residual heat out of the boiler, or exercising the pumps. For your reference I attached the instruction sheet, and the Taco zone control wiring guide. For additional information visit www.taco-hvac.comJoe Mattiello

That's embarrassing
I use the Taco zone control panel all the time, and didn't even think to make the recommendation!!
Joe, you set a standard with these panels... The lights are on the side- visible but not obtrusive, and the cover is a thick piece of steel. Great quality!
