gas valve with a manometer set up for differential pressure.

WM tech support is always great.

Is this a new boiler or a new problem to an existing install.

    GV-3 boiler

    I have been working on a Weil MaClain GV-3 that won't fire. It proves draft, 24 volts at gas valve, Everthing lights up except for the flame light, I have changed the ignitor and the burner..How do I test the gas valve? It is a neg press valve

    Spiders, bugs etc

    We have found these critters in orifice, venturi on these. Also on older GV boilers we have been having to tear down blocks and fully descale them and reassembly w/ new gasket sets which Weil Mclain are very proud of. Fairly expensive operation but short of replacing boiler only way to get back on line w/ consistency. Tim
