Tekmar rep bailed out!

I just finished 3 projects with 8, 11, and 14 RMB's. Where are you located?

  • Rep. bailed out on this project.

I have a system in which I had planned to use a mod/con boiler with outdoor reset; and 23 Taco radiant mixing blocks, with in-slab and wall sensors tied to remotely located thermostats(boiler room), functioning as set-point controllers. Tekmar rep says "no can do"; I think I need a different rep to talk to!

I'm curious as to how many mix temps you are supporting?

That is a lot of RMB's...so now the Taco rep can afford new BVD's PDQ.

    RMB's

I agree, that is a lot of RMB's. Is it constant circ with individual mix temps for each zone? That's probably the ultimate in comfort, but would use more electricity than 2 or 3 mix temps and zone valves. Just curious about the control strategy.

23 RMB's, wow. that's nice. I would love to see that set up. Of course you can call me, or any technical support engineer here at Taco for help. Look forward to talking with you.

23 wall sensors, with remote stats

Begs further ???? What's the building? What's the load per t'stat (RMB's are good for up to 120MBH; cost effective?)? Is there a more cost effective strategy. Why the RMB's, although they are great products?
