Boiler feed valve review

Hey guys.
I see many different types of boiler feed valves on the installation pictures here, and I was curious to see what peoples opinions are on different types of fill valves.
So, if you like / dislike a peticular brand I'd love to hear why.
I currently use a watts 1156/9D combo simply because thats what the local supplier stocks and its what I replace most of the time in the field on the south shore Mass.
I am interested to hear reviews of the Taco, B&G, Caleffi, etc.
Thanks!

b &g
hello Norm i usually always use a b&G brand but in a squeze i'll used who evers as long as there brass body ,the brass body valves seem to last a bit longer plus with the b &G there are least a strainer but like all prv they are going to get stuck closed after years of no use .I will if i get the right price for the job add a manual by pass so there 's no big deal on late night service calls hope that helps peace and good luck clammy0 -
Caleffi...
Other than the local representation at the rep level, it's a great product.
If you adjust it for 12 PSI, it goes to 12 PSI. Imagine that!

personal prefrence
I always try to use the b&g fb38 with the watts 9d bfp . i think its mostly a matter of preference but i like the ratio of cost/ease of install and service. i always prefer brass body and i like the fast fill lever for purging.
