something is not right. I would not add stuff I would
find out what is wrong and get it back to spec or replace it.

I have an old boiler that has been flashing out. I noticed that the pilot is lighting the right burner then the flame jumps to burner 2 then to burner 3. By this time if flashes out. My question is: I want to make a tube that will have little holes drilled in it with the flames all along the tube that will lay accross all three burners. I think this might help lighting it up faster. I plan on using steel brake line. Any suggestion or comments?

    Thanks

doing anything to modify the burner lighting procedure. It sound like the burners need to be pulled and cleaned and this should be done by a professional. The Pro will also be able to find anything else which might cause this to happen.

The entire system was taken apart and cleaned this fall and I know the burners are clean - no rust, dust, scale or anything.
