job a year ago very similar to this...GA124 instead.
They reccommend that If using the logamatic to NOT do the bypass...I would use the indoor reset feature to get the constant circ. benefit...kpc

Buderus Boiler - by-pass
I am installing a Buderus boiler model G124X32II with the logomatic control (outdoor reset). This is a large water volume system, free standing cast iron radiators. Was probably a gravity hot water system originally.
The logomatic control has a condensate protection feature that will keep the heating pump off until the boiler water reaches a preset temperature. This is adjustable but I believe it is set at 110 from the factory.
Is a system bypass still recommended?
I was also condsidering primary/secondary piping. The logomatic control would control the secondary pump (constant circulation) and the thermostat would control the primary pump thru a switching relay.0
