unless u use stainless steel it will rust the gage is the key use 26 gage if u want it to last if whats not exposed to water it will be ok but it it gets wet it will rust i had a guy run it out the side of his garage and up it will last a year or 2 but the work it takes. use a better grade royboy

Flue Pipe help
I took out an old boiler from my house and wanna put it in my garage I need to get all new flue piping the roof of garage is steel so I dont need insulated. I wanna know is the piping they sell at home depot good enough? Is it the same thats in my house? If not where can I get the piping that is the same as the piping leaving the top of my boiler?
p.s. its an old peerless and the stack temp was like 450-480 degress0
