Bacharach Pro 125 trouble

The same problem has been reported to me by some of the guys in the field. I have noticed that if the CO sensor gets a heavy dose of CO it takes quite a while to clear itself out. Don't know if that has anything to do with the sensor itself or not. Our oldest unit is 2 1/2 years old and I've never replaced the CO sensor on any of them, and we have 50 units.

When the problem was reported to me, I had the guys come in and swap the unit out here. Then I test the problem one and found everything to be fine.

On another point, I killed 2 O2 sensors in a row the other day, at the same location on 2 different boilers. The sensor worked fine during the test, but failed during post purge. I also noticed a build up of condensation in the water separator during that same time. I've had the guys tell me that the sensor works fine one test and is dead the next time the use it. After a discussion with Bacharach, I've instructed the guys to only leave the hoses connected for 10 seconds of post purge, then disconnect them and leave the unit running for a few more minutes. We'll see how this works out.

    Having trouble with my Pro-125

I'm looking for some insite as to why my Bacharach Pro-125 seems to be acting up after I just got it back from a repair and calibration. The pump quit about a month ago. I sent it into Bacharach for repair on the 7th of Nov and I finally got it back today. Holiday season means slow turn around as was the case last year when I sent it in for Cal. Anyways I go to use it tonight to verify the settings obtained by my backup Testo 325 and the Bach starts going crazy from a CO of 70 ppm to over 2000 and the it locked up in Purge mode. Another thing I noticed was that the O2 sensor had an initial power up reading of 182 as it is a newer sensor and it to dropped to 130 on the reboot. Is Rudy still at Bacharach and do you guys have a similar problem after recal. I had to send it back in last time as the O2 sensor came back and was all wacked out. Getting fustracted with Bacharack at this point after I'd been bragging to the other guys I work with that it is quicker and easier to operate than my 325 (Rugged though) Thanks for any insight.
